I don’t drink any alcohol, after my pregnancies I forgot what was the cause drinking it ;) it’s great that people nowadays are more conscious, I hope it only gets better- but the availability and quality of alcohol-free alternatives have to improve, a lot.
You make such a great point! Hopefully, as demand grows, we’ll see more high-quality choices. Have you found any non-alcoholic drinks that you really enjoy? Personally, I like to make myself an infusion in the evening. Anise infusion, for example, reminds me of the taste of pastis, and the benefits are numerous.
Yes! I really enjoy hibiscus cold brew, vervain infusion. In my country it’s quite popular to drink something called “bread acid”, tastes somewhat between coke and beer. I also like some beers 0%, as the alcohol ones they vary a lot, you have to try 10 to find one that suits you.
Wow, I’ve never heard of Kvass before, it sounds really interesting! I’d love to try it sometime. Here in Mexico, we drink a lot of Jamaica (hibiscus), but I’ve never tried it cold-brewed. I’ll definitely give it a shot this weekend. Thanks for the idea, merci!
